Job Overview

Applied Systems, Inc., a leader in insurance technology, seeks a Senior Salesforce Administrator to improve and enhance our Salesforce platform. This proactive individual will gather requirements, design scalable solutions, manage org health, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. The ideal candidate understands Salesforce deeply and can quickly identify improvement areas, handle change management, governance, and project management.

Responsibilities:

- Gather and translate requirements into scalable solutions with a focus on user experience

- Design and build solutions on Salesforce, including Flow, fields, layouts, record types, apps, and custom settings

- Work with Product Owner to create a platform roadmap and define priorities

- Manage DevOps/release processes and data quality

- Configure Salesforce security, including user management, roles, profiles, and permissions

- Escalate user support tickets and maintain technical documentation

- Identify unused platform features and stay updated on Salesforce advancements

Qualifications:

- 7 years as a Salesforce Administrator

- Experience in Service Cloud and Sales Cloud; CPQ experience is a plus

- In-depth knowledge of Flow Builder

- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator

- Successful integrations with external systems, e.g., Netsuite

- Desired: Platform App Builder experience

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred
