Summary

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level marketing solutions for our global clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, and the ability to design scalable and efficient solutions tailored to business needs. This role offers flexibility to work as a part-time, contract, or full-time team member, depending on your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, aligning with client business objectives.
  • Lead technical design sessions and provide technical guidance to development teams.
  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external systems using APIs, data extensions, and middleware tools.
  • Define data models, create segmentation strategies, and configure journeys in Journey Builder.
  • Design and develop custom solutions using AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for data security, scalability, and marketing campaign execution.
  • Provide ongoing guidance on the usage of Marketing Cloud capabilities such as Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Interaction Studio, and Advertising Studio.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business teams to optimize the performance of marketing automation processes.
  • Create technical documentation and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in Marketing Cloud implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and implementation.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Content Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, JavaScript (SSJS), and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, segmentation, and dynamic content personalization.
  • Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external systems.
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation and customer journey design.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in stakeholder management.

Good to Have:

 

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Architect, Marketing Cloud Consultant).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Einstein Analytics and AI-driven marketing solutions.
  • Experience with GDPR and CCPA compliance in marketing processes.
