Summary

This project aims to bolster the organization's data integration and management capabilities by leveraging Informatica Cloud Data Integration (ICDI) tools and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). The primary objective is to streamline data workflows, ensure data quality, and facilitate seamless integration with various external applications and cloud platforms.

Project Goals

• Optimize data integration processes: Implement efficient ETL pipelines using ICDI to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into target systems.
• Enhance data quality: Employ data quality checks and cleansing techniques to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Facilitate seamless integration: Integrate with external applications like Sailpoint and automate secure access to cloud services (AWS, Microsoft O365, Azure, Snowflake, PowerBI).
• Leverage cloud platforms: Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Azure, or Google Cloud) for scalable and cost-effective data storage and processing.
• Ensure data governance: Adhere to data governance and privacy regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Scope

• Data integration: Design, develop, and maintain ICDI workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources (e.g., databases, files, APIs).
• Data quality: Implement data quality checks, cleansing, and standardization processes.
• External application integration: Integrate with Sailpoint or other relevant applications to manage user access and permissions.
• Cloud platform integration: Automate secure access to AWS services (Redshift, Athena, S3), Microsoft O365, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and PowerBI.
• Data modeling and metadata management: Create and maintain data models and metadata to ensure data consistency and understanding.
• Data cataloging: Develop a comprehensive data catalog to document data assets, lineage, and usage.
